Curved Wall

Client brief: How to work with a curved wall in a bathroom? We love the flexibility of wet room trays allowing us to fit into the curved wall so we could utilise every corner of this bathroom. The customer wanted a deep bath without the restriction of a shower above and we achieved it with a separate wet area that was set off beautifully with mosaic tiles, and glass with flipper panel to contain the splash. For the shower, PowderRain by Hansgrohe is an expertly designed technology of micro-fine water droplets which minimise splash, perfect for open showering.

During strip out we encountered some unexpected brickwork that we had to work into the room without building full height and disrupting the gorgeous coving. A quick consultation with Sam and the specification was adjusted to include a recessed mirror cabinet for storage and décor lighting across the top of the boxing to use the space practically and make an eye catching lighting feature. Keuco’s Lumos recessed cabinet is stunning and the open shelf to the bottom is so handy for day to day products to be close to hand.
